Samuel Cheesman from Subacoustech Environmental presented a paper at the Conference on the effects of noise on aquatic life. Tim Mason also attended. This biennial conference follows the previous one in Cork, 2012 and focused on the effects of underwater noise on all forms of aquatic life. Samuel’s paper was presented on 13th August and described the noise produced by 5 different windfarms and its possible effects on marine life. The paper can be found here.
